Works now. Don't know if you did anything or if dumping my browser's cookies did it.

Just wrote a really long and in depth post about my project only to be told I was logged out and when I immediately logged in my post wasn't posted like some forums do and was lost, not even in the back page. Very discouraging.

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, you found out the hard way one of the side effects of not using the "keep me logged in" feature (checkbox on the login form).
Most old-timers here will tell you they copy the text of a long reply before submitting it, just in case something -- anything -- goes haywire. Then you at least have it in your own computer's memory and can paste it into an application for safekeeping until the problem is sorted out.

Yup. The one time you forget is when it will happen.

Not a bug per se (I think), maybe a lacking feature... But is there a setting for metric units I missed? I seem to have managed to at least have the fuel log entry in litres, but the usage graph, car data etc. are all still in American Empire units. I can crunch numbers to get things in units I can relate to, but it's a bit frustrating being confronted with chains to the hogshead and square barleycorns and all that stuff :-/

Page does not reload graphics
Each time I enter a new fuel log, the site updates the text entries while not the graph part of it. Besides, the internet browser reload facility and icon dissapears for reasons unknown. It is not possible to make a forced reload of the site, which makes the graph to update.
The only way for me to see the new fuel log in the bar graph is to log out, wait for some minutes, and log in again.
????
Any explanation? Any solution?
Best,
Oldbeaver

To force a refresh of a page, just hold your SHIFT key and click your browser's reload button. Works in IE, Firefox & Chrome.
There's no need to log out or wait.

FYI You'll need to do this every time you enter a new fuel log. Its just how the browsers work.
