Also, it was windy all day again, so I haven't had a chance to do the speed vs. mpg runs yet.
Rain forecast for the next 2 days. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do that on Friday or the weekend, then.

It's raining hard, here, too. Was hoping on doing my own runs this month, but I've rescheduled for later on.
Your results are encouraging. I'm thinking of giving Mitsubishi a call and arranging my own test over a much longer route.

Got the speed vs. fuel economy numbers last evening, 50 through 120 km/h 2-way averages.
I just need to double-check the scangauge calibration before I post...

Cool! So precise.

I just realized I left this thread hanging regarding the speed vs. MPG figures.
Long story short: I LOST THE FREAKING NUMBERS.
That's right, when I came back to update this thread I couldn't find my chicken scratch notes. You may feel free to be as disappointed in me as I am!
So Niky's test numbers remain in force for the 5-speed, and Wayne Gerdes' numbers for the CVT, presented here:

I loose written notes all the time. My suggestion is to install an app like Evernote to keep info that can be retrieved on any device with an internet connection.
