Haven't decided if I'm actually going to do that or not yet. :P Wouldn't want to hypnotize any poor innocent squirrels on my way down the road ya know?

Would like to point out...I've never messed with silicone before...the stuff is nasty! Getting it off of...well...anything is near impossible. So for future reference...just don't get it on anything. Beyond that, I found using a Magic Eraser did rather good at taking off residue without damaging the clearcoat o.o. On raw paint though, it'll take the paint off XD

I suspected as much. Should I assume the dashboard app it's running uses the OBDII port?

Yeah, using a BT adapter. Though I just corrupted the load so I need to redo it haha.

Working on it. Just ordered a couple 170 degree "backup" cameras and displays
I attached a couple pics of the mirror. One showing view from driver seat one closer up to show what I can see on it. Currently held in place by a strip of aluminum flashing and a big paper clip XD

Alright, since this is a new vehicle I figured I'd get the alignment checked...they said it was within spec. So asked them to 0 it out. They told me it would probably cause tire wear and even put it on the paperwork that I acknowledged it was a possibility. It has crappy wal-mart tires on it from the dealership so I'm not too worried. If it starts wearing too bad I'll have it re-aligned before getting the LRR tires.
From a little driving around I will say it seems to have helped in coast downs. From one light I'd normally be at about 14mph at the next light, today I was at 21mph by the time I reached it. Unless I'm just crazy, which is possible. :P
