It's an interesting concept for sure. Light weight, hub motors, and an interesting business model.

To aim for a more "sustainable" model, they claim they will only lease the vehicle rather than getting into a cycle of planned obsolescence by introducing ever newer models. Since the company owns the vehicle, they say their approach "rewards longevity and low running costs".

The lease would include both the vehicle and its fuel.

Its Back and bettern than ever!

The Riversimple company is back with a new business model and a new car, the Rasa which is Latin for clean as in clean slate. The car has a hydrogen fuel cell and super capacitor bank with a 300 mile range, four in wheel motors for a total of 18kwh iirc.
