Rust

One sauce to rule them all?

I knew ATF was probably better than wd40 or pb blaster but I had to be able to drip some ATF on the offending parts and let it sit for at least overnight or apply heat with a torch. When torching or inductively heating wd40 and pb blaster burn off almost instantly, ATF hangs around for a bit before burning off.
The advantage of pb blaster or wd40 is it has a red straw sprayer that gets it into places where ATF cant.
For the last decade or so I mostly use wd40 as cleaner and pb blaster for rusty stuff.
I guess cutting atf with solvent makes it work faster?
By the looks of it I should just dump my pb blaster in the nearest Ohio river and get liquid wrench or that other one I never heard of.

Surprisingly this isn't a post trashing Alec Baldwin for shooting that lady who was by total coincidence was filming a documentary on child trafficking. But it can be.

But it can be.
I had to think for a minute to make the connection.

I had missed the WD-40 in a squirt can when they went to the straw tapped to the side because they never had enough propellant.

Somewhere on youtube there is a guy who shows how to add 2 lbs of air to an airosol can to make it good as new. Only need an adapter and something that can do more than 2 lbs of pressure.

Assortment of comments: pb blaster is rumored to be a mix of dextron ATF and mineral solvents

A rubber gasket style washer added to a tire chuck with the center pin removed makes a dandy aerosol can re pressure device. Pressure in the chuck opens the valve in the can.

Have you never attempted to open an aerosol can?

I meant trying to open when there was (absolutely) not enough propellant.
