Wow and here I am paying 3.99 just for 89 here in cali :P. Arco is 3.83 but the civic idles rough on Arco gas, no idea why. I know this car wasn't taken care of whatsoever for its entire life (went 30k without an oil change, and had 199k miles on original spark plugs).

Yeah, Its getting down there. Tesla offering free patents must have the oil industry shaking in their boots?
I run 93 octane and it doesnt vary that much in price. Plus I fill up twice a month too.

No relief here. $3.76 is the cheapest I can find 87 octane. That's a far cry from the $1 I paid when I started driving in 1998. I would fill the '69 Beetle, hand the attendant a 10 and get change back.

This would explain the recently declining traffic to the forum.
I can tell you what's happening with US gas prices by looking at EcoModder's server logs.

People go on fuel saving websites when fuel is expensive... and when fuel is cheap they don't care.

My guess would be that it's easy for people to stop caring.
I filled up for a road trip over the weekend: 92octane Clear Premium at $5.29 a gallon.
Edit: whoops, crosspost.
