Just having a spoiler isn't the point. The point in this topic is to minimize wake by coaching the air to flow downward 10* from the roof so that it reattaches, without actually having a boat tail.

The only way a roof spoiler would be beneficial is if it was pointed downwards 10* or less, or pointed towards the rearmost lip of the vehicle. Search Kamm or Kammack.

Mercedes or AMG displayed an Autobahn stormer many years ago which sported a roof extension which tapered down gently,along Kamm's/Jaray's/Fachsenfeld's ideal aerodynamic pathway.
Downstream,on the trunklid,they did a wing spoiler which picked up on the pathway to give the air an extra kick.
An up-kick would be a no-no.
