Oilpan4 could use an old picture tube flyback transformer. Only need 25 Kv to generate the speed. Color tv went to 35 kv

35kv might produce X-rays that are too weak.
But it could work.
35kv definitely didn't produce photons that could go through the regular glass of the front of the tube.

Lead or leaded glass, either one works. It's just glass that has lead oxide in it.

The picture tube reduced the output, didn't stop it. Back in the early days of color tv you were supposed to sit back about 5 ft. Nobody did, but that might explain current general stupidity

I always planned on fully-researching this field, but I keep prioritizing other projects, like applying to SLP programs.
ChatGPT doesn't show any radiation oncology therapy schools in Arizona or on-line programs, but I haven't tried to verify.
