It was a tongue in cheek response to the aero-ecoli-cap idea. I know real cars are way to turbulent. Thanks for the intersting technical information though i didnt know all of that. I think with the HLFC they use a shape thats good at laminar flow similar to the the naca wings and then use suction through a laser perforated surface to keep the boundarly layer flow from getting turbulent much farther back from the edge than otherwise possible.

You must loose some rear view visibility which for you is probobly a fair trade off. I was thinking maybe plexiglass or lexan.

If anyone wants this topper (my original one) it is available for FREE to the first person who can pick it up in Western Wisconsin (Hammond).

We will be moving and I have another hard tonneau on the truck so I need to get rid of this topper ASAP!

It fits any 1999-2006 (or 2007 silverado classic) chevy or GMC truck with a 6.5 foot bed. You will need some large C clamps or some bolts to attach it to your bed. I hope someone wants it - otherwise it gets destroyed

NO!!!

Leave it somewhere on the property you're leaving with a note attached explaining it's presence and use!

If the next person doesn't appreciate it, let them commit the act of sacrilege.

Fubeca -

I agree with Christ. If one of us doesn't come by and claim it, leave a note that they could For-Sale it on Ecomodder.

In today's world this would just get me a free ticket to people's court

Hopefully somebody close wants it. I'll throw it up on Craigslist next week.
