OMG you have read my empty mind! Here's my idea for American Citizenship courses :

1 - A prospective citizen is required to attend up to 80 "Simpsonization" classes.
2 - In each class a Simpson episode is aired, followed by a 1 hour in-depth discussion explaining the cultural-historical roots of all the jokes.

At the end of the classes, the students will have absorbed so much cultural minutiae that they will be truly "Americanized" (for better or worse, , your donut may vary).

I think those anti spinners would increase the effective rolling resistance of the tire. I presume they mount some how with some bearings to spin on and then weighted to have a low center of gravity. There must be some frictional losses at those bearings and you would have a small increase in unsprung weight. At least it wouldn't be increased rotational mass

VW's 1L hubs look slick though, nice pic!
