That is a formidable photo archive, but I love the detail. You seem to have a bunch of OEM parts that are commonly swapped for "performance" (such as the airbox) or replaced when they fail (such as the distributor) with aftermarket parts. Also, it has been years since I have seen a fifth gen Civic rolling around Cali with its tailgate/trunk decal mostly or entirely in tact. Sun, salt, and general weather destroy them over time. The "Civic VX" decal on yours looks pretty good, though weathered. You also have the front bumper lip still, and it is in tact. That often disappears. And you have the original 13" ultra light rims, and they are pretty. Rims are often swapped.

Fun to see.

Thanks for your kind post.

My friend was a careful driver and the original rims (not refinished) reflect that. They don't have curb rash and are in really nice shape. If detailed, would look even nicer. All I did wash wash them with car wash detergent and I was amazed at the condition they in.

Excellent. I didn't think you would buy it, as you were looking for a driver. The Civic VX and Del Sol serve different niches. I still see Del Sols in original condition on the street, but it's been a number of years since I spotted a VX.

Glad you picked up the Del Sol, should be a nice driving car.

Maybe post some pics.

This is probably the feature I like the most about them.

Someone has a ticket to fly out on Wednesday and drive the car back to FLA. I will contact you if he changes his mind.
