Not soon, anyway.
Coincidentally, the next day a friend told me about an '84 Rabbit diesel (the ONLY old one in town, which hasn't been driven for about 5 years) available for a song.
I briefly considered... because I have the room! And then sanity prevailed (uncharacteristically!).
