Every time one of those Camrys passes me I find myself irritated by the gianormous gap between the exhaust pipe and the body on that otherwise sleek design.

YES! At first I thought I was just noticing ratty, low-hanging Camry exhaust pipes, but they all hang low!

Does the 2018 Soul have autostop? Autostop makes a huge difference in around town fuel economy in the 2021/2022 Souls.
Interesting fact about the new souls - sport mode has 8 "gears" yet at highway speeds it will run at 7th "gear" -- putting it into sport mode and locking in 8th gear at 45mph and above actually helps fuel economy a lot.

No autostop. I just do it manually.
I have been using the manual shift mode too: You can get it to start from a stop in 2nd gear. Also, you can get it to upshift up a few km/h sooner than it otherwise would compared to leaving it in auto (eco) mode.

Sayonara Camry
2nd fastest used car sale ever... gone in 2 hours.
Over a dozen inquiries, half wanted to see the car ASAP.
I know I priced it "below market" for the current craziness, at $3800 "as is" (which is still crazy as far as I'm concerned).
Only thing wrong with it (that I knew of) was a slight leak somewhere in the fuel system at the rear. No drips, but you could smell gas fumes outside the car. All this was disclosed in the ad.
The guy who bought it (also the first one to come look at it) said it was about $1k below similar cars that had passed inspection. That's about what I expected. I told him if I had bothered to do the fuel sys repair and got it inspected, I would have asked $1k more.
He'll be able to do the repair himself - said his brother & cousin are capable DIYers. I congratulated him for being quick to reply & scoring a good car at a good price.

I looked at the kilometerage--and then the price--and wondered "What's that in real units?"
I use metric when it is relevant, but Canadian dollars?!
What's that in Canadian Tires?
Meanwhile, my 2004 Camry has 205,000 miles and a check engine light! Time to log in twice and create a new thread!
