Works with ice chest in the car! Nothing visable (except ice chest which is temporary.

How well does it work?
Slowly; but very effective. Not very noticeable until you realize that you are cold :-)
If I didn't have leather seats I guess it would be faster to take effect.

More to come soon it has been a very very long day.

Well after a week of daily use I have established a timeline of the seat's performance.

0-1 minute: I'm pretty sure I turned it on.
1 minute-2.5 minutes: There is no way this thing is on (Try switch repeatedly)
2.5 Minutes -3.5 minutes: I think it's working (stick hand n seat to feel the cool)
3.5 Minutes - 5 Minutes: Oh yeah Baby! This thing rocks!
5 Minutes -10 Minutes: I'm getting cold here.
10 Minutes - 1 Hour: God D@m$ I am freezing but for some reason I like it.

Now I just need to eliminate the Ice Chest, Mount a switch, and Figre out a thermostat.

That is because windshield washer pump motors aren't made for 100% duty cycle. You need to either cycle the motor on and off, or lower the voltage so it doesn't suck as much power.

Highly recommended "for the price".
Mine leaked; but a quick disassembly/ re-assembly cured that; pretty quiet (once primed); low amp draw; no seals/ bearings to wear out.

The hose coming from the ice chest gets very wet. It doesn't drip much (few drops). I don't see any water from the seat; but that is highly un-scientific.
The seat probably stays dry/ drier because a) no air there and b) my back doesn't sweat as much.
