Just found another pump Idea.
DC 12V mini water pump(centrifugal pump)38-03 - eBay (item 260294009674 end time May-28-09 01:26:11 PDT)

Now I'm considering using an Ice Chest and multiple pumps.

So I'd have a pump for each seat; and one for the cooling circuit (to the A/C) that way I could Pulse and glide the crap out of it; BUT then I'd have a slow start up . . . May be some valving would fix that; OR maybe a T inlet to the seat pumps with 1 T leg on the tank and the other to the A/C return loop.

I would start with a simple AC loop - you can always add to the system later
and you may be surprised by the thermal inertia of just the water in the tubes

Looks like This project is going to have to be put back another week.
Going to work on http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...-tdi-8290.html.

But I did gather up 4 of these

and Drilled them all out to maximize flow.

Edit:
Now all I need to find is a pair of Threaded Plastic 1/2" NPT T's. and maybe a little more 3/4" clear tube.

You can get 1/8" o.d. copper & aluminum tubing for the a/c duct thing.

If you put the Paltier (sp) device in the trunk the heat can go there. Good insulation on the tubing will get more "cool" to your seat. If you have one of those electric coolers, which I think is a paltier device, You could put ice in it & turn on the cooling when the ice water gets too warm.

After looking at new cars with cooled seats, air pumped through perforated leather upholstery. You could take 2 sheets of suede, 1 perferated & one not, & sewed them together with serpentine quilting. Pumping air through the pad would keep the nether region cool. The cooler the air the cooler your chair. Small cooler would still apply.

You could take DonR's thoughts to the bank. You would have to modify the cooler, like cut a hole in the side and mount the Peltier in the side or floor of the cooler and silicone around it to seal it, then insulate or even better, heatsink the other side. Check out the rather large one here:
Gigantic 62mm - 545 Watt Thermoelectric Peltier Cooler - eBay (item 310104062553 end time Jun-24-09 15:45:03 PDT)

That would be a good solution, however, you will want to have something that moves the water around inside the cooler, like a propeller. Otherwise you may freeze the water nearest to the Peltier device. Good luck.

New pump on the way.
I'm trying to avoid peltier due to terrible efficiency.

Planning on doing 2 or 4 loops of 1/4" copper to collect cold from the evaporator.

Man I can't wait to get to work on more ecomodder projects.

while the car is apart for the wreck (rear ended) I pulled the drivers seat and did this

I also shot a video of the new pump test; works GREAT. I'll post it when I get back home.
