Sorry to just now reply. I have been extremely busy doing nothing lately.
Regarding the car, it is still sitting at my parent's place.
I took it off my insurance for now.
I'm not sure what's next for the car.
The easiest and most cost effective thing, would be to just bring it back to it's former self - complete with the teeth, wheel covers, and Kammback / box cavity.
I will have to redo all new artwork on the car.
For security, I was thinking of the chain idea i think i mentioned earlier.
I would have a piece of chain that goes inside my steering wheel, and loops around the gas pedal or shifter and is locked.
It can still be cut, but would be a real hassle, so I think crooks would pass the car up.
Lately, I have been having crazy daydreams of getting everything from a Chevy Volt, to a Mazda Miata, to even a Camaro or Firebird so that I could mod them with a boattail.

That Miata sketch reminds me some sci-fi stuff. Wouldn't be so bad if you tried it...

I love it when you spitball aero project illustrations.
A Miata is a very fun car, and they have a big and active following. I guarantee if you did that to one, you'd become Very Internet Famous. Are you ready for that?

Boat tail a Camaro. I knew a mechanic that had one with a V-6 stuffed up under the dashboard. Those have good front-rear balance.
GM put a lot of effort into that greenhouse. And you could give it an eAssist hybridization.

The Miata is too expensive to cut up.
I'm seeing some cheap DelSols though.
More daydreaming :

I've loved 1/2 of that body style since they came out.
The front ( LOOKS ) so sleek.
The rear, not so much.
It's too rounded and the rear glass has the appearance of having less slope than the front of the car.
I never could figure out why that the cD is so poor on those cars.
Point 34 !
They actually are more draggy than the "boxier" car they replace.
I think a boattail looks more proper on the Camaro / Firebird with their long pointed nose.
( To me ) it looks a bit like a Porsche Longtail racer, or a McLaren Speedtail.
I love the way the glass on the car has a nice radius to it when seen from the top.

Police have been made worthless these days. Perhaps we’re being trained to shoot the thieves on sight rather than spur a police confrontation which ends up in months of burning cities.
... my buddy sent me a CL ad showing an identical jet ski to the one stolen from me. I bought it from him years ago for $500, and now they are going for $3k.

Not so bad, as long as it doesn't look so riced-out. I wonder how a shootin' brake conversion could eventually lead to some improvement to aerodynamics.
