Well, freebeard isn't all bad, at least I get to listen to Buddy Holly while trying to make sense of his posts.
freebeard, why don't you always post a different good music videos?
What do I not pay you for?!
I don't know that I had ever bought cheap white bread until I was trying to keep a particularly picky Alaskan alive.
If it was the adult I wouldn't have cared, but you aren't allowed to allow kids to die, even if they are particularly picky.
"Hey, what do you want for breakfast?!"
"Eggs."
"What kind of eggs?"
"Eggs."
So, I made eggs for her the way that I made them for my brother.
She refused to touch them.
Only then did did the mother say she only ate over-easy eggs.
What is wrong with them?!
Oh well. Someone else's problem.
Do you know who isn't anyone's problem?
The 8-year-old who was more responsible, intelligent, and mature than her mother.
Is it weird to miss a kid, but not the mother?
I am sure that you hadn't missed hearing about the mother.
By the way, I am sure that millennials will call other millennials boomers if they don't like them.
The qualification isn't age, its not fitting to whatever qualification the dang whipper snapper is applying at that moment.

If the parenting is inadequate to keep a child alive and reasonably healthy, they need to be removed from that guardian.
Also, beggars can't be choosers unless a person is foolish enough to allow themselves to be walked all over. I'll usually respond to a request for assistance, but my willingness to help requires the asker to agree with the solution I provide. Some people aren't looking for solutions, and many have ulterior motives.
It takes a tiny bit of discernment to tell the difference between those with needs, and leeches. One requires utmost compassion, the other utmost contempt.

If you order food from a restaurant, how much can they mess up the order before you sent it back?
I stopped at a Mexican place between clients and an employee came out saying "Hey, we gave you someone else's burrito. Here's the right one."
"Okay, but this one is really good!"
"Keep it!"
Back in Mesa people always talked up Ned's Crazy Subs. I went once and they intentionally and maliciously wrapped a pickle wedge with my sandwich.
The parts of my sandwich not soaked with pickle juice were good, but the rest was ruined.
Now, people who don't like me claim that pickles are great and wonderful just because they know it bothers me.
Have we established that I need to find new people?
It was years before I returned to Ned's Crazy Subs, but I kept telling them to hold the pickle.
They kept telling me to just remove it.
They finally stopped saying the same thing over and over expecting a different result and I had a pickle wedge wrapped with my sandwich with pickle juice soaked into my bread.
I haven't been back for years and I'm never going back.
However, if you give me something for free, I won't be picky.
Here's the thing: The Alaskans have been homeless.
They didn't mind it as much as I expect?

Have we talked about Kitty, Daisy and Lewis? FYI that's not Buddy Holly, but I like the act because he captures the joy that Holly brought to the table. And it was an important inflection point in race relations.

They shouldn't be supposed to mess it up, but sometimes it seems like they're waiting for someone to die from a foodborne allergy before handling properly the orders

I’ve occasionally wished I owned a business just so I could tell the pimply kid to resign on the spot and work for me for 4x the pay. Usually I’m thinking minimum wage is way more than the pimply kid should get.
We’ll soon be ordering from an app while the robits make it. All mistakes will be self introduced. Pimply kids will have to figure something out.
Out of hundreds of orders, I don’t think Taco Bell has ever delivers 100% of what I’ve ordered. Never sent anything back.
