I need to hike up the suspenders and get to work. I'm ranked next to last on our team! Doh.

Well we've been holding steady at #19 for about a week now. That's not bad for a newer team. There's a few people I sent out some messages to that have pontiacs that I've seen while reading on here so we'll see if they join. If they do we should end up around the #16 slot!

18!
18, up one!!
Now to pass Nissan in the 17 slot...
35.09 (Nissan) - 33.98 (us) = 1.11 mpg +.01 (to put us ahead of Nissan)=
1.12 mpg gain
edit: I hope to replace my slipping clutch soon. Should help my numbers a little. In the meantime I'll look to improve my next tank a good chunk since I only have one entry so far in my 90 day average it will have a bigger impact than those of you with lots of entries. I mean, a 2 mpg gain on my next tank will raise my 90 day average by a whole one mpg since it will be half of my entries right?

Awesome! Good to have you here!
I've got a road trip next week so I'm hoping I can get at least 35 coming and going that would help out a lot too. I'm figuring I might need around 5ish fill ups to get to KY and back.

just did another short fill-up hoping for a little better than first tank. Only changed (for the better at least) just under a tenth of a mile per. I need a tank run with all back roads near me where I can run a steady 45-50 and keep off the freeway to get a nice jump. Under 50mph in 5th gear is what the gas gauge will like.

Well I got bored so I tried finding the frontal area of my car I think I got it calculated it was about 20 sq ft based on the measurements on Wikipedia. I started looking for the cd the cavalier is in the wiki on here but not the sunfire so I just used that I figure it should be close enough to not make a difference.
I'm also thinking about buying either a scangauge or ultragauge while I'm developing the OBDuino 2. I'd just be getting a used one so I'll see if I can find any good deals on ebay or something.

Yeah that was the formula I used so it should be right or at least close to being right.
Btw you should join the team! You could bump us up to #17
