Thanx Daox, accolades from a team Toyota member, I'll take em.
Shooting to catch your 90 day at 50mpg on one of these tanks on the Vibe.

I'll try n load the air dam / lower block again. Looks a lil tacky but if effective, I can live with it. The lawn edging is plenty soft and giving so I don't have to worry about steep driveways. I used it on my CRX also. Easy and cheap. Use zip ties to attach.

Will be playing with dfco on this tank. Will report results.

That would be very impressive. I think the best I ever did with my '03 matrix was mid 40s.

I just filled up the Sunfire today, and it was much better than expected. 34.76 mpg. That bumps me way up the team Pontiac list to number 5 (vs number 8), and puts us within .4 mpg of team Nissan. Woohoo.

Sweet. Chipping away at em. Need a couple of others to post a good tank or two.

I installed a lower block and air dam. Hoping for a little help with them. Time will tell.

I found a few posts on jbody that showed people getting over 50 mpg with a manual so that gave me hope that I can get to 50 with my auto i know I got at least 30 mpg on my last tank but I haven't fueled up yet so I don't know what the exact numbers are hopefully it will help get us a little closer.

Well.... technically to help the team standings you would have to raise the average (30 something mpg) but that doesn't matter. Screw the team numbers, we have to figure out how to save you some gas/cash with that thing. Glad to have you join the team William. Strength in numbers! We'll never catch the Honda or metro teams no matter what we do. Pontiacs just don't go there, never have, never will. We're probably all here for similar reasons including learning how to get better gas mileage. Make improvements on our own personal best tank.
Also cool to see another Michigander, makes several on our team.

Yeah, the last couple tanks have been pretty bad. Not sure what happened, but the current tank seems to be heading back in the right direction (about 90 miles on the first quarter tank.
Getting near 200 K miles, and it's not in very good shape(mechanical + rust).

Welcome to the team! Don't worry too much about the numbers yet we'll get there eventually. Nissan won't get that #17 spot forever! Lol
