The aforementioned tents are available in charity resales stores by the multitudes for under $5. Otherwise they sit and collect dust, seem to have fallen out of favor OR there is no resale market. Possible there lies a style quotient?

There are those who do, albeit a minority; else humankind would spiral downward. Piotrsko -- I haven't been in Bleugene lately to see if it's changed, but they sprout like mushrooms on any public infrastructure space. Maybe everyone is graduating to tiny houses?
Hopefully, a lot of federal office space will become redundant and the homeless can move inidoors.

iThe Case for Converting Vacant Offices to Congregate Housing
Nov 21, 2024In the city of Seattle as a whole, office vacancy rates were reported at 19.42%, the highest percentage in the region. This percentage translates into roughly 20.8 million square feet of vacant office space. When analyzing the Puget Sound region as a whole, Kidder Mathews estimates
...
The study looked at office to residential conversion scenarios in Seattle, Denver, and Minneapolis, cities selected for their high office vacancy rates, large numbers of cost burdened renters, and regulatory environments favorable to implementing a co-living housing model. Overall, the study found that while the co-living model significantly decreased conversion costs, some level of financial subsidy would be necessary to make the office to residential conversions financially feasible, albeit less than what is currently being spent to create conventional affordable housing units.

That's Satoshi Nakamoto
When was the last time you or anyone paid or received payment in BITCOIN..?
The 1st thing that happened when Bitcoin went online was that some elite 'police force' swooped in and 'arrested' a clueless Australian family (IIRC) where Bitcoin seemed to originate from..!
Blackballed
By not being allowed on most sites (youtube etc), with the mining software itself blackballed as malware by most Anti Virus software.
Oh and many BTC exchange leaders er... 'taken to the cleaners' and any security breach 'Headline News!'
While banks quietly pay HUGE 'Don't hack me!' bribes monthly and pass the cost onto YOU..!

Typo.
I can't speak for 'anyone', but t here appears to be ~500,000 transaction per day.

The only analog that comes to mind would be Kim Dotcom. But that was was New Zealand and the governmental overreach (complete with helicopters) was over Megaupload, a file sharing service that represented 4% of all the traffic on Internet at the time. That was in 2012 (he lost the extradition case in 2024, apparently). The White Paper was in 2008.
I bought a hardware wallet around 2014, but never found a way to populate it and gave it to my son. Now there's a kiosk in the store on the nearest street corner.
Losses are due to poor OpSec, like leaving things exposed on exchanges; cold storage is the way to go. In any case mining Bitcoin is more energy efficient, not to mention environmentally benign, than mining physical Gold, what with the Cyanide and all.

Ye I'm not going to go re- look for links n all that for a totally off topic subject.
I'm mining BTC, LTC and Doge, etc (dual-mining on viaBTC pool = multi-coin) as we speak.
It's not nearly as lucrative as it was, but the heat is handy atm as it's a cold autumn down here in the Southern Hemisphere.
ie: When the heat's useful and something you're paying for anyway: Mine!
(Chips turn electricity into heat with 98+% efficiency IIRC)
Well..! Read up on axial fan etc aerodynamics a lot! So you know how to silence the fans and aero the miner interior, to avoid going noise crazy, then mine!
(tip vortices, blade passing stator noise, static pressure recovery, various frequency absorption, Helmholtz, etc)
Other option is submersion cooling in mineral/baby oil, in a buggered Deepfreeze or somesuch, modded with a large pump and large movable radiator-fan/heater on long pipes.
Here; no-one will give me the time of day when inquiring about that much mineral oil.

Good on you. I haven't considered mining since my computer draws about 10 Watts at full throttle.
Micropayments seems like an alternative. ...if you've got anything people want.

A seasonal effort then? My max heating capacity is 6.8 Kilowatts.
So what do you think of Major Hardware's Fan Showdown? He tests for Db and smoke, and in the last season added static pressure.

Ye. If you need/want the heat; switch on more miners as they offset the cost of heating.
380 Volt 3-phase supply.
Major hardware is OK yes.
NB the winning fan. (pre static pressure)
The grooves from the 3D printer are parallel to the direction of air movement over the separately printed fan blades..!
There's a Bell Mouth with center cone. Bell Mouths work.
There's a static pressure recovery duct with tail cone and flow straightening stators.
All simple 'outside the (fan) box' thinking.
But do remember where we are!
Tesla Megapack peaking plants up to 730-MWh
I still think someone who says he can make E-Fuel at prices competitive with drilling is worth keeping an eye on!
