Scangauge reading "LOD" grossly incorrect?

Hey everyone! Been a while ;P
I recently got a 2012 Focus SEL with a 2.0L 4 cyl.
I moved my scangauge II from my (now totalled) kia into the new car, after performing a reset on the SGII. My normal gauge set up is AVG, MPG, LOD and water temp (sometimes switch temp out with others depending what info I want)
Long story short, my SGII is reading load wildly incorrect in the Focus, sometimes near 80% load at IDLE!
Every other gauge seems to work perfectly fine, in the mean time I've swapped LOD for TPS, but of course they're nowhere near the same
I've tried wiping it out again, tried different ECU protocols (currently on CANSF, the only one that will read the focus, unfortunately) tried leaving it out for a day (lol who knows I've seen weirder things happen)

I'm at a loss here, anyone have any ideas?
Its really getting to me as with DWL in the Kia that was rated 30 on the highway I was seeing tanks ~40mpg... the Focus is rated 38 hwy and I'm getting... 30 -.- haha

If I'm thinking right, on cold mornings my corolla reads 60% load at idle, once it is warmed up it is around 30%. I think my TPS is a bit off, idle is something like 12% TPS lol.

What does your TPS read idle vs wide open (engine off of course w\ key on).

Hmm, maybe possible, seeing as you seem to be in the same boat, that everything is perfectly fine and the LOD readings are just higher in these engines due to higher efficiency? I suppose in this light it would make sense. (And yes after it warms up fully my idle load will come down nearer 30-35ish, and ~12tps)

I was confused with all this because my 09 Kia used to read around 15 at idle, and i'd have to give it considerable throttle to hit 80% LOD, whereas in the Ford I'm barely passing 25 on the TPS and hitting 90+ and it seems that I'm at 99%load before my intake even becomes audible.

Interesting, I kind of wondered about it my self but maybe there is something to it.

What does your Map sensor read (if you have one) when the engine is off vs 80-90% load? I suspect the % is based on 0 being fully closed, and engine off as fully open (no vacuum). My area/sensor reads ~14.6 engine off, idles around 3.5-4 and steady speed ranges from 6.5 (i have an odd high mpg mode thing idk much about) to ~9-10. Taking off, I think it hangs around 12 for 80% load.

Unfortunately SGII wont read MAP on my vehicle, I've even been trying a few different xgauges that are specific to ford, meant to do the same thing, but I can't get a read, guess it isnt equipped lol.

I was thinking about just buying a vacuum gauge and calling it a day haha

Forgot most Fords use MAF sensors if I remember correctly .

I first started basing my driving on MAP readings, but almost completely use load now. I don't really miss the MAP readings, since the Load readings make more sense for quick thinking (it's floored, or it's barely above idle)

my lod is 18% idle and 40% cruising when warmed up. lod works with map sensor. it measures vacuum against atmospheric pressure. so if your car doesnt have a map sensor youre doomed.

it should be max 95% for na engines and it indicates % maximum torque and volumetric efficiency. ie. at WOT my ALD is 88% at 3000rpm and 95% at 4500rpm, falling off after 5500rpm. my car has both map and maf sensor, so i'm not sure if this xgauge will work if your car doesnt have one of those.
