I don't think that replacing the engine mounts will increase your mileage. My old car (Cadillac Deville '90) had two broken engine mounts and it would shake badly at speeds over 40 MPH. After I had them replaced though, I didn't notice any change in mileage (on a 4.5 hour drive).

I switched my engine oil to synthetic after 150,000 miles. I also switched from 5w30 (or 10w30 sometimes) to 5w20. The level on the stick stays the same even up to 10,000 miles - no leaks or burning at all.
