Toyota Aygo

Hi All,

I have been browsing the forums for a while now and have not posted anything.

Anyway i have recently bought a little Toyota Aygo. now this is already an excellent car for fuel economy (@ 62mpg from a little 1l 3cylinder engine). but i would like to explore the possibilities of increasing the mpg further.

Now unfortunatley i have not got any pics to hand of my Aygo but there are plenty on the net if you have not seen one before.

Now what mods would you, the ecomodder community, suggest i could so to the car to help increase its mpg?

Many thanks in advance.

Jon

Welcome to ecomodder!

How far are you willing to go? I would start with our gas mileage increasing tips list.

I am winning to go quite far to a certain extent but i would like to keep the look of the car similar to as what it is now. e.g. not go as far as the aro civic.

I would suggest instrumentation, wheel covers, and skirts for starters.

Welcome to EM! What SVOBoy said. Here's a picture of the Aygo for other members to see :

Do you have a 2-door or 4-door? Manual or Automatic?

As a fellow UKer(about 35miles away!!!!! Warrington) carefull you don't get the rozzers on you for modding too much and clear it with your insurer, otherwise they may refuse to pay out . Stuff like tape grill blocks should be ok - prob is the Aygo is pretty cool as it is.
