Truck Box Helpful or Hurtful?

I have a box that goes in my Ford Ranger bed (pictured). As you see, it's not the common type that overlaps the sides of the bed, but sits completely down in the bed at the front.

It's fairly easy to put in and take out, so I'm wondering if it will affect my FE and in what way. I can do the research if I have to, but it seems a lot of thought has gone into air flow with trucks, so perhaps the answer is already obvious to you.

From an aerodynamic standpoint, the box likely has no positive or negative effect.

That's what I was hoping, since it's handy to have in the truck.
