Gray ideas. I think I might make a graph chart showing pre and post mpg. 32 to 45 is a nice jump

Are card designed to be inefficient or do they just priorities looks over gas usage?

this whole idea has gotten me playing with my excel fuel data again

I have run the numbers to see how much I have saved just with driving tweaks: $284 over about a year.
With my mods I have saved $692 since the start of 2011.
for a total of $976

Its a good thing I modded my car, that over doubled my savings rate.

I think it is a good idea for all of us to look over our data and see the savings!

It went well. He asked a bunch of predictable questions. I walked through most of my mods and their benefits. Then we went for a quick drive. He thought the scan gauge was cool, and started seeing how light food movements changed mpg. I think he might get a scan gauge

The episode is going to air mid to late May so no video till then.

I wonder how many more cars i'll see around midland that will have boat tails due to this .

Anyway, be careful about talking about the mirror delete, according to the wiki on Michigan law, it requires two external mirrors . I folded mine in instead of deleting because of that.

I expect the video to have small segments of your interview, and most of the video showing your car and having someone narrate most of it. My mom won a boat like 10 years ago, they asked her like 5 questions for their interview, and on the radio the only thing that showed up was them saying she won the boat, her name, and a small clip of sped up and edited voice going "Yes YES YES!" as if she was excited.

Anyway, good luck and hopefully they put the points across on the air correctly.

I fully expect the interview to be clipped, may even spin me to be odd, and extreme. Its it Hands larger then mine now

As for the side mirror:
Mirror Laws by State (U.S.) - EcoModder

I only need a passenger side one if I am a commercial vehicle (over half ton) or cannot see out my review mirror. I also have a passenger mirror but it is on the inside (better blind spot coverage).

how modded is your ride? If you are in the area I can give you a hand modding if you would like

We have tee shirts?
Where do I get one????

Yea for what ever reason I read the second part and was thinking wrong. I don't see it saying anything about the driver's mirror having to be external so I'm thinking about an internal mirror on both sides. My car don't have much for blind spots (yet), so I don't miss the passenger mirror at all.

Do you have coloplast in a large sheet?!! Biggest I have is 30x36 in . Funny thing is, I bought 10 sheets mainly because I figured I couldn't get 2+ wheel covers out of each one. Well got all 4 out of one sheet . Anyway, that is part of what is slowing me down for a belly pan, figured I could combine several sheets to make the coverage if needed though.
