Not only did they remove the ugly and replace it with uglier they also replaced reliable with the K-series, aka the "Kettle Series" due to its head gasket issues...

Other than the lack of a vertical grill this looks a little like a mk2 Jetta. Simple and boxy.

I don't really like to rag on an American muscle car, but after a pleasant '68, '69
vintages Dodge Super Bee's, WHY did this horsecollar grille have to come about??

I was shocked when I found this! If the chrome in THIS case were now body color, or completely eliminated, my ragging might go away!

Both of those cars are some of my all time favorite designs.
Beauty really is in the eye of the ...er beerholder
