What reason is there for the removal of the final portion of the tail ?
Haha true story

Cutting it off at 80% back is just as good as the full tail.

That and the legal hassles of not having taillights facing straight back.

Also didn't he have a clear plastic end on the tail in one of the photos?

I think it is getting reworked / finished? The rear wheel strakes are also missing.

So is this going to remain a one of a kind? Or will he have a fiberglas body kit available for those who want to make one / experiment with?

I was thinking more along the lines of having components available for further modification, research and development. Kinda like the open-source movement in software.

I could see folks with stock Geo Metros and installing the Dolphin nose and using whatever kambak or boattail suits them.

Lot of good work being done on ecomodder, but it's like they're each singular pieces of art.

If I wanted to do this, It would take me years to learn all the skills and apply them.

It would be cool to just buy pieces that can be bolted on and tinker with other configurations; fuel-gas-EV, engine, 3 wheels, 4wheels, etc. Or just build copies.
