Ultra-Gauge

I was getting ready to buy a ScanGuage II when I stumbled on the Ultra-Gauge link.

At half the price and on paper a much more interesting product, I decided to give it a shot.

I'm pleased with it to say the least. It mounts perfectly with the windshield-extension mount. It figures out itself what gauges you have based on your odb implementation. It can be configured to show 18 gauges on 3 pages.

Just consider the price to be $70, the procedure to get the $9 rebate will not be worth it to many of you. But still, a great deal. As I said in another post, I've never had a ScanGauge, but I can't see how it could beat this! I'm going to get one for my truck too.

For non-hybrid vehicles, the Ultragauge looks to be a strong up-and-comer.
And at it's price point and better gauge readability, it might be "the thing."
(It does not have the capability to program hybrid-specific readouts like the
SG's XGauge feature.)
