Mmmmm yeah. Pretty neat chart, actually useful for some applications. For long distance driving however, useless, unless time is not a factor. For me, a 780 mile trip cannot be made longer by not averaging 65mph, which requires me to drive 75mph in MT and ID, and 70mph in WA and OR, (Bozeman to Portland). I can't afford to add 8 seconds per mile, as well as the mountainous area here, I found going slower made for worse mileage because of the automatic down shifting and the 4th gear lockup (another reason I should mod it for manual lockup.

Neat chart, if I lived in a flat state it'd work. But the mountains (not puny hills) make it impossible.

Cross referance car ( and driver speciific) MPG / CPM - then i think you have a winner.
60 vs 70 for "Normal Driving" (thinking the sub 1 hour trips)would...
- cost you XX minutes
- save you YYY Dollars.

Now to use the SG to fill in some data points. Maybe my next long highway trip i can set the Cruise and gather some "steady state" FE data at 55 - 60 - 65 - 70...
