I know that the current set-up acts like a sail since only 1 side is covered, so there will be a noticeable improvement. Once I add it I will do my best to fully seal it, and might add a large hollow tube to balance pressures.

I have been eye-balling the Bocian plans for a while. Nice shape. Pretty sailplane.

I grew up around gliders in Dansville, NY. The landing pattern came over our house. Now I live near the National Soaring Museum. There are many designs available but what I liked about this one is the similarity to the Morelli/Aptera optimal shape and that the curves are simple arcs and ellipses. The shape should be very stable in cross winds with a low nose to reduce lift and a high tail to clear the exhaust. If you want, let the curve come to the shoulder and add front and rear helmet fairings.

The Vetter team is still hard at work experimenting with getting the best drag coefficient on a motorcycle. Alan's new lowboy frame mod and seat back bulkhead should be a big improvement. Chapter 87 in a 10 year ongoing campaign.
