I was trying to sell my City-el due to charging problems with 1 battery not charging, and drawing from the other 3. An owner of an identical City-el came over, test drove it and liked it. Finally got to the cash/trade point.

I almost split a gut laughing: wanted to trade an EV Metro! When I was through snickering and saying 'no thanks', I bought a big charger the next day to zap the whole circuit. Case solved. Metros are great, but I don't want to be a Hollywood star!

You didn't want to join the elite brotherhood of the EV Metro!?!?!?!

Was it a home converted one? If it was a Soletria, I would have taken it on the spot!

PS: Every new EV Metro owner gets a free video of him talking about the car - instant fame!
