Video: Ford Falcon wagon with Honda 125cc motorcycle engine (with kick start!)
What about that Argentinian Ford Falcon with a Honda CG 125 engine?

I'd love to drive it!
MPG? MPH?
For God's sake, tell him to set the idle down.

The woman who uploaded that video just claimed that it could get around 92.5MPG, which by the way I doubt, but I didn't find any mention of speed. Probably around 25 or 30 MPH.

I just stumbled on this fantastic trio of posts today (originally part of this thread: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...rry-33495.html ), and copied them into this much deserved dedicated thread.
There are a bunch more videos on the user's channel now than there might have been when this was first posted.

Like the fact that the car has a 20 speed transmission (5x bike, 4x? Falcon).
I love this vid of them accelerating through FIVE gears in reverse!
Towing! Haha!

I doubt they actually use all those speeds, even though some cross-shifting might be unavoidable.

so
gas tank gone
original engine gone
radiator gone
lead battery gone
much less rolling resistance
looked like a bit of missing glass? maybe?
all replaced with a 30lb motor
yeah i can see it being useful
this car could really use some better aerodynamic efficiency though

Anybody know what year it is?
The style differences are enough from the US version that I can't pin it down, based on the Falcons that come up most often in Google Images. I'm guessing late 60's.
Just curious.

Last year for the Argentinian Falcons was '91 and they remained pretty much unchanged throughout the production run, apart from minor cosmetic changes and 2 engines that were not offered for the Falcon anywhere else (the Brazilian version of the Pinto OHC engine which might've been available only in the sedan and an Italian VM Motori Diesel for the Ranchero only).
