Not sure about the support on the "front" area of the guy...hope that's not too snug...could cause some discomfort. I like the idea though...very cool!
Wonder if they could be superfitted for people with walking disabilities to make walking easier? Or, hinged under the seat with a locking mechanism so you could sit without using a chair if one was not available?
Like you said, this looks like the first incredible step to providing a new alternative to those in need of a wheel chair. I am sure as the technology advances they will be able to provide more and more support to even help rehab people who have had injuries etc...
In fact reverse engineer it to provide resistance and you have an incredible tool for runners of all kinds and distances.
I tell you, its an incredible time we live in ...
