Agreed, ironically though sulfur has a very high reflective index, so the reduction in the sulfur content of our atmosphere has actually contributed to global warming. Back in the 1970s they were predicting an ice age due to sulfur emissions. Now we're being super careful about it, one of the last ditch ideas I've seen floated around is emitting huge amounts of sulfur into the
upper atmosphere to decrease the amount of sunlight reaching the surface.
