There's no difference between the clusters other then the cruise control is a shift light.

OK, cool; I didn't know that! So knowing that I'm not sure if I'd rather have an operational c.c. light or upshift light...hmmmm.

As of now, I'd say maybe rather have the c.c. light.

My non-turbo suburban has a power to weight ratio of over 40lb per Hp.
Thats not the problem, when I load up and tow the power to weight goes well over 50lb/hp then it really starts to drag.

FYI, Matt, the former owner/admin of gassavers.org did a VX engine swap into a Civic sedan, but an even older year than yours, if I recall. If you dig around there you may find his build thread. I don't think he's around to answer quesitons any more though.

Also: I don't think he quite got it 100% done. He ended up getting the new car fever and bought a Fit instead.
