What gauges do you use on your scangauge?
Just curious.
I have mine set for:
MPG-So I'll know my exact MPG at that very second
CPM-Like to know what the fuels is costing me for every mile
FWT-Like to know what my water temp is
VLT-I like to know the voltage.
For the trip reading, I like to view what my overall MPG for the day is.

I play around with mine a lot depending on what I want to watch. But, I usually always at least have instant MPG, average MPG, and engine load. Other than that I watch GPH, coolant temp, and intake air temp.

Instant MPG, throttle position(my pedal is touchy), RPM(no tach in my car), and lately IAT or IGN, I have to program the trip mileage in an Xgauge, I've been putting it off.
Ian
p.s. Does anyone ever see negative IGN numbers, my parents have a 07 CRV with terrible mileage. We plugged in the scangauge and on start up there was negative IGN advance. No engine codes either.

TPS, RPM (no tach for me either), Instantaneous MPG, and average trip MPG.

Throttle position
Air intake temp or ignition timing
Coolant temp
Instant MPG
IndyIan - I see negative numbers in my gf's turbo Passat when decelerating. My assumption is that it retards the timing way back to keep exhaust gasses as hot as possible so the turbo spools faster when you step on the gas again. I don't know for sure though.

You know, it'd be really cool if you could set even just one gauge to cycle through a select amount of gauges. Something like have the upper right gauge flash through x/y/z every 2/5/10 seconds.

Now that WOULD be cool! VLT, FWT, Intake temp would be my choices.

I always have trip mpg and instant mpg or gph. Other than that I cycle between IGN, MAF, AFR, IAT, LOD and TPS. I will look at the SFT and LFT now and then too. I would LOVE to be able to log this stuff. It would be easier for me to see how my car manages the fueling if I could make maps from the data.
On the TDI I also use a PSI Xgauge, which is basically just the MAP less barometric pressure. I use it to monitor my turbo bleed by comparing what the ECU sees with what my mechanical gauge reads.
