What kind of car is this?

I have absolutely no idea and I do not have much to go by. A very blurry screen shot of a video I took as we rolled by. My wife says it's "cute" and wants me to get her one and convert it into an EV.
Yikes. I should probably pursue such a crazy project now that I have the wife's blessing for such things for the very first time ever!

Could be a Trabant. (Former East Germany), but not quite sure.

It seems too short to be a Trabant. It however looks similar to the Daihatsu Mira from early 90s...

It looks older than early 90s. Like a 70s import of some sort.
I do love Trabants....

Well, some Japanese Kei cars from the 80s to early-90s actually look older

Nissan Pao, made by the Pyke Factory, based on Micra running gear, quite cool little cars, they are a retro styled thing from the early 90's

I KNEW THE ANSWER! But I failed to win the prize.

I'd seen a couple of those last winter when I was hanging around out there.

My first guess was Trabant too, but I googled it and saw it wasn't.
