I spent a good portion of Friday searching every "KIT Car" Link I could find NADA.

Stunning ...
Both as a working design ... and its internet stealthiness !

Never saw a build thread over on Fred's tdiclub.com site.
Doubtful this would show up on VWVortex, not their type of thing.....

Go to bed, Xist!
I went to bed at 8pm. It seemed like a good idea. I could not sleep and have spent three hours on some time-wasting site. It is just people sharing crazy stuff that they experienced, not intentionally stupid stuff...
Anyway...
I am closing that window and going to bed.

I found myself wondering "Why are the fenders on upside-down?"
There are three visible 'exhaust pipes' in that boat-tail.
What are the chances that it is an hydro-jet powered amphibian?

I agree about the body source comment.

I'm not so sure.
The MacLaren knock-off has a narrow windshield on a body that makes the Porsche RSK Spyder next to it look tall, single side windows, and a pronounced dip in the line from the top of the front wheelwell to the rear.
The body in question has six side windows set flush with no rubber gasket and all straight edges. The windshield is quite wide, with a lot of taper to the cabin. You can see the right lower corner of the windshield is above the last number on the license plate. The body is probably aluminum {note the reflections in the lower door area) and is mostly simple curved with some crown in the top and above the front and rear wheels.
The plan taper abaft the rear wheels is as pronounced as the problematic area seen in the profile view.
