Fuel rail magnets cause baby pandas to catch flu and ladies of a certain age to learn the conga whilst shopping at the bakers. They have also been known to change the path of falling meteorites towards the vehicles to which they are fitted and all zip fasteners within 20 miles to suddenly get that 'tooth out to the side' fault, but only the ones with YKK written on them.

All proven facts.

If not, prove myself and Derek, my talking Unicorn, wrong ?

There are a lot of things wrong with this thread but the LM7 version of the 5.3 would benefit the most from a tuner such as Hypertech, Jet, Superchips, bullydog etc.

They offer performance and economy tuners sometimes on the same device. Other than that more information is needed. Is your truck a 4x4/ is it lifted? what after market items do you have? what has been done? what size tires do you have? do you know its current gearing?

For others to help in a reasonable manner you need to supply us with what you are working on. Good luck

Warm air intake is another option. That also helps the longevity of a lot of engine components.
