No great mystery-I didn't get my first computer until 2002, and the first game I played on it was Red Alert II. I needed a handle for regular and occasional online play, and Order99 sounded vaguely military...
That, and the fact that Agent86 was taken. Given my sad Gaming Skills it would have been a perfect fit...the actual Agent86 on the RA server swatted me like a fly in online combat BTW.

Christ, on the other hand, actually removes attention... when you say "Christ", most people think you're saying the shorter form of "Jesus Christ", as though you're cursing something... and will intentionally not pay attention. Thank you, got what I wanted.
That, in addition to the fact that it's funny to watch/listen to people mispronounce "Christ" with a short "i" sound, as if to say "Crystal" without the "ull" sound. I assume most people do this simply to avoid saying "Christ", thinking that I might be offended at a mispronunciation of my surname.
Either way, Christ. It's simple. And it's never taken.

Ah, so then it's not Chris t. as I was figuring.
Nevyn is one of my all time favorite characters from a book series I love.

I go by dichotomous because I think it sounds cool, plus its like a discount you get two for one!
actually I think it goes back to am IM conversation once on an old handle (Frosty, since I used to snowboard whenever possible, sometimes when not possible too) and someone told me I was "certainly the dichotomous one" and then I made that my handle cause I liked it, the one got dropped at some point. now its my handle everywhere

Has nothing to do with religion... sorry for those who were thinking of some cynical response. I get them all the time though... like "Is your first name Jesus? (Latin pronunciation: hay zeus)

For some reason I thought I had posted here, but apparently I was wrong.
Almightybmw.....Kinda simple. It is religious, though I am not (religion /= faith). BMW because since 199...5?6? can't remember now. It's been a long time..Anyways. Since 199-something my dad has had a BMW motorcycle that had more cool features than the car we had. Seriously. The car was a turbo, but the K1100LT had a cat, ABS, a rockin' sweet stereo, electronically adjustable windshield, and a bunch of other cool stuff motorcycles shouldn't have. Plus it weighed less than a Goldwing
So yeah. I love BMW bikes. And I love God. (though sometimes it doesn't show)

Matt = my first name
Herring = my last name
Would have chosen a cooler handle but I took the Ecomodder registration form literally...and entered my full name. My nickname has been "Bone" since I can remember...hence the vehicle's being named Bone's Toyota and Bone's Scooter.
If I could do it all over again I'd probably go with Bone as my handle.
