A black dude I worked with for the last 13 years has been calling me Hacksaw since we met...I have absolutely no idea how or why he came up with it, but he was persistent in it's daily use up until he recently took the buyout that AAM was offering us. In a greeting/acknowledgment fashion, he would always yell it across the plant in a deep guttural tone that gave a "badass" flavor to it. I have to say, I like the ring it has. It's funny because I recently met bbjsw10's wife, and she admitted she was uncomfortable with the fact that her husband and son were camping next to someone named "Hacksaw" during Johnny Mullet's September '08 gathering in Ohio...She actually wanted them to come back early and not stay the second night...I think she thought I was "dangerous"...hahaha
Although I do own a couple hacksaws, I actually prefer using a reciprocating saw whenever possible...they cause way more destruction...and faster too.
Hacksaw

Too impersonal for me... I like the movement involved with the hacksaw.. brings me closer to my "work". Whatever it may be...

Blue Flame was a salt lakes speed car that held the land speed record for 13 years.
I'm the slowest around so go figure.

I started using esoneson in 1984 when usenet (any of you out there remember usenet?) was the only network based information sharing method available.
I've used esoneson ever since (first initial, last name). But wait, you say to yourself, your username on ecomodder is esonson. What happened to the middle e? I was in such a hurry to join this group my fingers couldn't keep up with my brain resulting in the typo. Any moderator out there available to advise me on changing it?
Eric

Kinda tongue-in-cheek... it's German for "Night Knight"... I have some German background, and I enjoy making chain maille (mostly jewelry, but occasionally protective gear too).

Ah, shoot. I thought it was a slur on Knight Rider, one of my favorite TV shows. This is why I started this thread!

Its a girl thing
Aidem is my maiden name. But it isn't long enough for most username venues, so I added the "1".

Well, I woulda figgered your user name had something to do with noses. As in "a backwards nose shape is the most aerodynamic" or something like that...
(Still wouldn't have explained why you would have two backwards noses in your user name)
