What's Wrong with Site Update Speed?

I'm wondering what's gone amiss. The site now seems to take many hours to update. Have we reached servere capacity or is some other technical problem afoot?

What do you mean "to update"? Seems to be working fine for me...

Thought I was detecting long lapses in activity. I guess folks are just busy with other things. We old retired guys like our internet "life."

I've also noticed a downturn in activity. Contributing factors include the unremarkable price of gas and the trend toward people driving less.

I'd like to read about your work, so get out there and do some interesting mods or studies, take pictures, make graphs, and post about them.

Me? I'll be out enjoying this weather this afternoon, but I plan to do a little work on the car this weekend.

Even I haven't been spending as much time on EM as usual in the past few weeks.

Chalk it up to:

- ridiculously fantastic weather lately! (for this time of year... so outside playing & working)
- a couple of new, unrelated and sort of related projects competing for my time

The site stats definitely show a small/moderate decline in traffic looking back a few months - roughly 10%.

I figure it's mostly spring fever though (for us northern hemisphere residents).

I've been outside working on my car, instead of just talking about it.

very cool.
i hope to have a chance to look into a "miss" on my car.
It doesn't appear to notably affect my mpg, though.. so i've been putting it off.
i have decent weather to look forward to.. for tonight and this weekend.
