Wife Drives Electric Car!

My wife FINALLY drove the Electro-Metro!

I took her down a side street, just to get used to it, then we drove to the grocery store.

No mishaps, nothing weird happened - just the fact that we drove a car to get groceries without using a drop of gasoline!

One more EV driver on the road!

-Ben

I get kind of protective of my electric car so I've only let a few people drive it, but I'm willing to give rides out like they were candy at a parade.

Haha, why was she not driving it sooner, it would pretty much be almost the exact same as driving a normal car right? just more gauges to watch right

Great to hear! Now if I could get my wife to try out our eletric Fiero. (Many times she's told me she hates it. I think she works for the oil companies!)

Congrats, Ben & wife!

I've let a bunch of people try the ForkenSwift (with me in the car). It's too cool an experience not to let people drive it. The latest was last week: the machinist who made the coupler. He was all fired up too, since he just saw Who Killed the Electric Car.
