I just finished my winter grill block and made the air dam out of lawn edging...the first test didnt really show much of a difference but that was a given with all the variables

I didn't see much FE improvement from my grill blocks, but what i did see was warmup times being 2 miles quicker. I know 2 miles is a good time measurement but i dont turn my heater on til the engine is up to normal operating temps so it helps for comfort

It looks like you blocked the bottom, but what about the area around the Honda logo?
Once it gets down to freezng at night, I block all but a 1x3 inch opening. Warms up fast, I can keep the interior hot and continue wearing my PJs with decent mpg.
Would you do a stealth block paint the coro black and use black zip ties( i still got white, plan to switch them out 1 day). I think it looks pretty good. The bottoms are more noticeable, but on the top i bet hasn't been noticed by anyone yet.

Looks like you could just use some black water pipe insulating foam strips along the edges of the grill slats to block the upper grill. If it works it would have the advantage of not disturbing the cosmetics of the grill frame and emblem and could be removed in just seconds.
