Did you see the latest apology for the chaos ? They were using the wrong weather forecast apparently.

This comes after it wasn't forecast, oh - er, yes it was...
aye it was shocking-i suppose at least they're taking some of the blame. Most everyone in Scandinavia will be laughing their heads off at us.

I'm working from home for the 3rd day as the roads to west lothian are either shut or jammed. Supposed to be thaw on, so i may try to extract the scab and run into work thursday.

I hear the cold should be back on monday right thru til xmas

I've been at home since a week last Monday. Our drive is a one in three and the stree is also quite steep so I just decided not to bother.

Done loads of work whilst at home though, more than normal - phones all quiet

It was good, but now its thawing the roof is leaking.

And the insurance people see it as a priority - they don't do weekends and the 24 hour response is 2 working days... eh ?

leak

Rrrr me too,
Only it doesn't have to thaw to leak. Who thought a 2X4 roof construction with R~8-11 would work in one of the coldest states in North America?
