I don't know what is used to clean raw biogas in my country, but I remember reading about "washing towers" which removed those corrosive compounds, and residual COČ too.

4 ball test
A lube with no EP addtives would fail spectacularly.

Next wood chipper experiment completed.
And that was, would the wood chipper benefit from an oil cooler?
So I installed a mechanical temperature gauge and ran it twice. The oil temperature stayed between 150 and 160f.
The wood chipper usually doesn't run at full speed and spends a fair bit of time unloaded or lighty loaded.

Maybe it wouldn't actually need an oil cooler. What about its oil filter?

On page 7 near the bottom I added an oil filter that bleeds off some oil line pressure through a 10 micron hydraulic filter and back to the crank case. It filters all of the engine oil about once a minute.

Well, an "oversized" oil filter also often provides a mild oil cooling somehow.

Well now that you mention it I guess the oil filter does increase surface area that the oil comes in contact with quite a bit. I should run it, close the oil filter valve for a little while open it and see if I get significantly hotter oil to the gauge all.

It does, plus it often increases the total oil capacity of the system, so there is a higher mass to absorb and conduct heat away.
