I remember a Lithium-based grease with some anti-wear additive, known here simply as "blue grease", used to be recommended more specifically for bearings.

There's no renewable energy with out the petrochemical industry lubricants.

Even solar panels need silicone bearing epoxy that's almost completely immune to sunlight. Came from the petrochemical industry.

I want the engine to run lean enough it will die when I first start it unless I give it some choke for the first 10 to 30 seconds.
Next smallest size I have is an 85 I think that's too small. So I bought an eBay set with 85 through 100 jets, specifically 85, 87.5, 90, 92.5 a redundant 95, plus a 97.5 and 100 that I shouldn't need. I'm thinking it needs about a 90.

I'm not sure WTH happened but these jets I ordered back in march just showed up in the mail the other day.

Petroleum is still an easy, readily-available feedstock for chemical industries, yet some synthetic base oils can be even made out of biomethane for instance, considering what is already done by Shell with regular fossil natural gas in Qatar.

Bio gas is some pretty nasty stuff.
Bio gas will eat the aluminum pistons in natural gas engine very quickly and corrode the fire tubes in a boiler at an accelerated rate.
I'm sure I can be made as clean as natural gas with some extra steps.

That's why I said biomethane, instead of raw biogas. Well, maybe some of the residues extracted from raw biogas being treated to become biomethane would also be suitable for some chemical industries...

The difference is refining. Just need a gas scrubber, something that can remove HS2 and other corrosive sulphur bearing aromatics. In the oil and gas industry they use an ethylene glycol drying tower and that seems to take care of virtually all of the nastys.

I have added an oil filter to the wood chipper. Used a 0.088 inch turbo oil restricter fitting to return the oil to the oil drain hole. I used the smallest oil filter I could find without a built in relief valve.
That cuts my oil pressure just about in half. Need to restrict that down a bit more. Want to be back around 40 or so.
Now I should be able to do 50 to 150hr oil changes instead of 20 to 25. Now the oil I dump out at 100 hrs will be cleaner than the oil I would dump at 20hrs.

Is this thing sitting out in the rain or does it have it's own shrine?
