I'm guessing your problem lies there. If you check my gas log, you'll notice a large dip then spike in my gas mileage. That came from having to use the pump next to the one I always use filling the same way. So a different station altogether sounds about right. Bad news is, it may take the scangauge another couple of tanks to recalibrate itself again ... and that always sucks.
