THATS FOR SURE.
UGH!
I hate to stereotype, but almost all of the Prius drivers in NE/NW Ohio think the Prius pedal is an on off switch, and that turn signals are optional. The Volt drivers, aka the only one I've been around, are worse. But I'm sure not all are that way.
In my personal opinion, an ecomodder gets the car they want and MAKES it fuel efficient. Whats the fun in just buying an FE car?

If...
You see a dumpster lid and think "that could make a good aerocap without much work" and you don't even own a truck.

Agreed 100%
Most Prius owners I see are driving 70+mph down the highway and don't know how to use their blinkers. I guess they figure that if they are already getting good gas mileage, they can afford to lose a little by going faster. That's why I play the Prius pass game. Not sure who on here came up with it, but I enjoy it.

IKIAM. These are all true stories.
YKYAEM when you take twice as long to fill your Honda Fit as the guy with the F150, because you're hyper-filling an extra 2 gallons into the tank and that takes time.
YKYAEM when your clutch pedal cover is the first one to wear through, at 30K miles.
YKYAEM when election time rolls around and you're on the lookout for a campaign sign big enough to build a rear diffuser with.

YKYAEM when Prius owners (a.o.) not driving economically annoy you to the point that you cannot contain it and post a reply about it...
I watch them speed by and think that no matter what the EPA rating says, my car is more eco friendly that that Prius.

Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong. If I would just drive at 72 mph, I'd get much better mileage.

YKYAEM if you have a few dozen non-OEM wires running all over your vehicle. AKA sensors, gauges, displays...

I guess I live on a different planet, cause the prius drivers in my part of town don't drive 70+. They do cut you off (with no turn signal) so you have to quickly slow down, move over, jump out of that sweet spot MPH, etc. I guess it's just the large demographic of certain people in our area (not to stereotype, of course ).

You know you're an Ecomodder when you think: "this is really going to hurt my trip FE" as you accelerate enough to get the license plate of the drunk driver that almost smashed into you on the freeway while on the phone with the police.

YKYAEM when you notice a car in the next lane restart as the light turns green, because you have keyed off and the window is down even though the temperature is 85 degrees and the humidity is 200%
