37 mpg most days this week going to work and back now that the weather is warm. 37.5 yesterday but today is a bit cooler. Hoping that 40+ should be easily done going downstate this weekend.

I set four goals for myself this year. Took care of three of them on my last tank.

First 600 mile tank,
First 1000 km tank,
First 65+ mpg Imp tank, which is also better than 55 mpg US.

This is the result of more than 2 years of progress, from better driving, to mods, to still better driving and even better mods. Compared to when I started thinking about improving mileage to the present, I've managed to squeeze out 300 km's more per tank.

The fourth goal for 2009 is 70mpg imperial.

56.4 km's further on the same amount of fuel. Doesn't sound that hard?

Or does it?

Just beat my best tank in the Paseo (thanks to the alternator disable switch). 626.9 miles on 9.04 gallons gives me 68.3 mpg!

New record!

935 miles = record distance by 28 mi.
12.11 gallons
77.2 mpg!

I'm a little suspicious of the fill level - it might be a short fill. Scangauge told me 74 mpg. Either way, it's a record.

And for the moment, I have the highest honda civic 3-mo average, including heavily modded ones.

After your 66.6mpg I thought you were going to achieve a 77.7mpg

Anyway : congrats your improvement since last year is impressive and you should soon be in top ten on 1st page

I'll try to achieve 900mi with my current tank then I'll go for another kilo-tank and a 66.6mpg.

Denis.

1055 miles in one tank (14.78 us gallons)! that gives me 71,38 mpg. Drived 250 kilometers with the low fuel ligth on then chickened out. Next cheap gas station was 80 kilometers away so decided to fill up.

Feeling good but not satisfied. Next goal is 1100 miles which should be guite easy, but then the next big goal is 1900 km in one tank that is over 80 mpg,s. More mods are coming so Iam trusful to my goals...
